Hatch has in-depth experience designing and implementing several beneficiation methods, including:

• Primary, secondary and tertiary crushing systems
• Grinding including SAG, rod, ball and pebble-mill circuits
• Flotation including Hatch’s achievements as a pioneer in this technology for silica flotation
• Heavy media treatment plants for both drum and cyclone circuits
• Gravity concentration using Batac jigs. Hatch designed and constructed the world’s first Batac jig plant for processing hematite ore in Western Australia
• Magnetic concentration using both LIMS (low intensity magnetic separation for magnetite ore) and WHIMS (wet high intensity magnetic separation for hematite ore)
